Elder Michelle D. Johnson, M.Div., Co-Pastor is a native of Baltimore, MD. As a student of the public school system in Baltimore, Michelle graduated with great honors and achievements. She later graduated with highest honors from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and is currently pursuing a Master Science degree in Nursing Education at the Notre Dame of Maryland University.
Pastor Michelle is a young woman who diligently seeks after the heart of God in order that she might walk in obedience to the calling upon her life. In February 2004, Michelle received her license to preach the Gospel and was ordained in November 2007. In June 2007, Michelle earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Illinois.
Pastor Michelle finds her greatest passion in ministry in the areas of discipleship through Christian education and the practice of worship. In accordance with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20, Pastor Michelle desires to go and make; baptize and teach disciples so that each one may know and grow in the knowledge of God through Jesus Christ. Secondly, it is through the ministry of worship that Michelle has a passion to create an atmosphere that leads a worshiping community into the very presence of God.
Pastor Michelle is married to Dr. Jermaine Johnson and together they have one daughter, Zoë Imani. Pastor Michelle's lifestyle exemplifies one who is found hallowed in the very hand of God. She lives with the sheer joy of knowing that she is who she is because of who she knows - God the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ.
